Yarner week is an environmental arts holiday in beautiful Devon, ideal for people of all ages.
Our aim is to provide a creative and relaxing break. There will be a maximum of 30 tents. It will be a small friendly event, but with great attention to detail and with quality in mind.
You can choose from a range of exciting and creative workshops and events on each day. If you just want to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, beaches, woodlands and places of interest - you can do just that, but with the benefit of local knowledge.
Camping is in the grounds of Welcombe Barton, a delightful medieval farmhouse with coastal and woodlnd views, hot showers, flush toilets, a barbecue and even a play area for the younger environmentally conscious members of your family! All in a village style layout with a central campfire and story telling area.
Breakfast - coffee, cereal, croissants and the daily newspapers - are included in the price in our "cafe barn". For other meals use the barbecue facility or you may wish to buy food from our on site food stall. Enjoy relaxing workshops and playing with your family while we do the cooking: lunches and evening meals are available freshly cooked every day, see typical menus for details and cost.
You will need to book early to secure your place as we are unfortunately limted to 75 people.

| Welcombe is a small village on the North Devon/Cornwall border set amid beautiful National Trust coastline. There are delightful wooded valleys, beaches and village walks, a church, a pub, pottery and well stocked village shop. Should you wish to explore further afield there is the charming village of Clovelly nearby, the dramatic cliffs of Hartland Quay, the bustling port town of Bideford, Lundy Island and surfing beaches of Bude and Widemouth Bay. |

| The Yarner Holidays are ideal for all the family! The workshops are carefully selected to appeal to people of any age. They can accommodate up to 12 people at a time and are welcoming, friendly and relaxed. The entertainment is varied - from barn dances to theatre groups, puppet shows to storytelling. Under 6's will have a safe play area, 6 - 16 year olds will enjoy the workshops and adults will love our 'spoil yourself' sessions in the yurt. The entertainment should suit most tastes! |
