 The Yarner Trust is a registered charity promoting sustainable and creative living through a programme of educational courses and events covering:

• Rural skills and creative crafts
• Smallholding, food and health
• Sustainable building and energy
• Wildlife and nature

The Trust is based at Welcombe Barton, a medieval farmhouse in a quiet rural setting close to the rugged North Devon coastline. Accommodation, camping and venue hire are available.

The programme of courses and events to May 2010 is now open for bookings. Bursaries can provide financial help so that courses are available to all.

There are opportunities for volunteering across a range of Trust activities.

The seventh North Devon Seed Swap will be held here at the Yarner Trust on Sunday February 28th 2010. From 11am-3pm. It doesn't matter if you don't have any seeds to bring, come along, get some for free and bring them back to next years swap! There will be lots of growers, plenty of chat and light refreshments.
