The Yarner Trust has a strong tradition of attracting volunteers. There are opportunities to be involved in many aspects of the Trust’s work, ranging from practical work on buildings or gardens to office administration.

Like-minded people meeting on regular volunteer days can enjoy sharing knowledge and learning new skills in a friendly atmosphere, confident that they are supporting a worthwhile cause. Resident volunteers can also play a valuable role in the longer term.

These are arranged around a seasonal programme of work including woodland management, organic gardening and maintenance of our historic buildings. Meet at 10am in the Barton. Light lunch provided. Finish around 4pm.

Volunteer weekends offer overnight self-catering accommodation for those travelling from afar. Come for one or both days. Meet at 10am in the Barton. Light lunch provided. Finish around 4pm.
