Welcombe Spinners

We aim to foster and promote an interest in the traditional textile skills particularly the production and use of homespun yarn.
We provide an opportunity for like-minded people living in this isolated, rural area to meet regularly to share their enthusiasm, talents and ideas, with a view to passing these on to future generations. We seek to widen our horizons with speakers and special events associated with spinning, dyeing, knitting and associated activities. We have a good range of equipment for newcomers to try.

Membership Fees

£3 per week for visitors or Full Membership at £25 per term.

Membership is open to any person regardless of age, race or gender, wishing to share and to make a contribution towards the activities of the group.
