As a registered charity The Yarner Trust relies heavily on the generosity of grant making organisations and those individuals who support our aims of advancing the understanding and practice of sustainable and creative living.

These donations and grants have enabled us to:

  • Restore some of our lovely medieval buildings
  • Construct examples of sustainable buildings using traditional methods
  • Make a community yurt
  • Transform the corner of a field into a productive willow bed
  • Maintain a demonstration organic kitchen garden
  • Update our communications systems
  • Develop a schools workshop programme
  • Support our Volunteers projects……and more

 

  

Make A Donation

If you would like to make a donation to The Yarner Trust, however small, it will be much appreciated and put to good use. Remember that if you are a tax payer and complete the Gift Aid declaration  you effectively increase the value of your gift to us by up to 28p for every £1 donated.

The Trust is based at Welcombe Barton, a medieval farmhouse in a quiet rural setting close to the rugged North Devon coastline. Accommodation, camping and venue hire are available.

Schools & Education

If you want a tutor to visit your school or group, just call us for a wide range of curriculum based or fun activities for a half or full day session.
