Of ancient origin, this beautiful crescent moon-shaped frame basket once used for carrying broody hens became very popular as a shopping baskets during the 50’s & 60’s. Using white willow shaped on formers for the hoops and ribs, and brown skeined willow for weaving, this is a project for those with some experience.
