Take a closer look at the ideals and realities of a self-reliantlife- style on a few acres of land. The course will cover the sustainable production of food from land and livestock, the basic skills needed and the potential for earned income.
Visits to established smallholdings will provide working examples. Alan and Rosie run a 16 acre smallholding along organic lines and write regularly for Country Smallholding magazine.
